More aggressive water filter pitcher?
I am looking for a water filter pitcher that can filter out most pollutants. I was looking to buy an Aquasana filter to my apartment countertop kitchen sink, but the ridiculous faucet / sprayer combo that will not filter the counter. I do not want to install a model under-sink, because it is an apartment and I'm not interested in making investments for something out of. I am skeptical about Brita pitchers and polyurethane, which does not seem to do much, except improve the taste. I'm not worried about taste – My water tastes good – but our tests of bad city water (high levels of chlorine, the highest levels of products pharmaceuticals and medicines high in metals). Any suggestions? It is difficult to find impartial review by looking only through web sites …
